Customer seeks refund from origin energy due to misunderstanding by representative, wants disconnection and refund for fees since december 24, 2023.
The customer service representative Spencer, was not understanding of our situation. My mum has had a stroke and expected her to remember her exact address of where she lived before the stroke so that we could request disconnection. She has paid huge amounts for a unit that has been empty for 6 months. She would like disconnection and a refund for the fees taken out of her account since December 24 2023

Customer seeking refund from origin energy, facing delays and partial refund due to 'expected bill' deduction.
I have requested a refund of my accounts credit. three time already. The first two time no one responded. the last time they are keeping over half of it for my "expected bill" which will be in another 10 days. I have never been late on payment and have no cause of them to think i will not pay.

Hi, origin, I wan the customer with you for many years. Today I am moving my house, so call you to inform and try to disconnect old place and reconnect my new place. I called you right now and still on the phone. One person picked up after 10 minutes and send me the check number and the tell me to wait. Account A-0E67BB34 After multiple smart meter replacements & multiple phone conversations on your 132461 number, I still do not have the problem with my data available through your Origin app fixed. I am promised that the problem will be sent to tech support, billing faults & other departments but still the problem persists. I am told that the representative will ring me back to tell me what is happening, but to date this has never happened.

Customer seeks amended invoices, compensation, and apology from origin energy for inflated bills causing significant stress and financial burden.
Origin did not send me an invoice for a year The account wasn't in my name or set up by me I need agreed to a contract with them or signed anything amd they know that They then sent me an electricity invoice for 135k for 10 months followed by another for 35k for 3 months. They never sent me a prior invoice or email and then all of a sudden said the invoice was overdue and they threatened to shut my electricity off if not paid straight away. They assured me the bills were correct even when I stated they were extremely inflated compared to my other business. They disagreed and assured me by email they were correct. I had to call in an emergency electrician to test my power and see what was foing on. I incurred significant costs doing this. No issue could be found. They said there was no chance my business would use that much energy. It would be almost impossible. Eventually they reviewed the charges on the 1 invoice they sent and found a multipler of 160 was used, not 40. Origin has now confirmed a 40 should have been used but have not amended and up until this morning had not contacted me in 8 days. There correspondence said there still working on it. This issue caused me significant stress to the point I was having issues breathing. I felt like I had a constant weight on my chest and migraines. I discussed with my franchisor immediately the way I could close my business without further costs. I also had meetings with my external legal and external accountants requesting the process and costs with shutting the business immediately as I would not be able to absorb the exorbitant electricity costs which Origin confirmed were correct. I want the invoices amended and any furniture invoices amended. I want compensation for the costs in finding origins mistake and for the stress this has caused me. I wasn't a significant discount for the lake of correspondence and continued mistakes (sending another bill) at the inflated price. I would.expectbthese incorrect bills to be wiped.and a new account to be opened and charged correctly and on time.
