About Ajust

Ajust is a VC-backed startup based in Sydney. We believe everyone will use AI to eliminate admin and get wins with businesses. Our mission is to be the trusted guide and advocate for consumers. Ajust was founded by Tom (ex-lawyer who worked for a High Court judge, ex-Head of Product at LegalVision). Our team comes from Aussie tech greats like Airtasker + SafetyCulture and has experience scaling startups to millions of consumers in the US.

How You’ll Make An Impact

We’ve built a platform for consumers to contact businesses and resolve complaints. We’re now building an army of AI advocates who will make sure our users get wins. Our advocates will:

  • Assess whether consumers can get a win (eg check whether you could get compensation for internet issues).
  • Perform specific tasks for consumers (eg draft remarkable social posts that nudge businesses to take action).
  • Provide 24/7 support to consumers with live cases (eg suggest their next move in a case and take it for them).

As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll:

  • Execute our roadmap and put AI advocates in the hands of our users.
  • Shape our infrastructure and methodology for building and scaling advocates.
  • Explore and test new tech frontiers that will push our product and business to the next level.
  • Help establish the foundations of our engineering culture and team.

Who We’re Looking For

This EOI is for junior and mid-level engineers.

Our current stack is built around AWS, Python, Next.js, OpenAI - that will evolve, but you should be able to navigate all of those.

Some things that’ll make you stand out:

  • Experience at a high quality startup.
  • Already building with emerging AI / LLM technologies.
  • Genuinely care about how your code gets jobs done for our users and helps our business hit its targets.
  • Hungry to take a career swing to build a big and unique business.
