Good morning. My name is Lin Ho Soh. I have attempted to open an account and been rejected. I have asked why this is and the only answer I get is “we can’t tell you”. I’m going overseas with my family and I would like a card How can I fix the problem if I don’t know what it is. I just need to know what the problem is for the rejection so that I can fix it. Customer is seeking $900 from ubank due to account closure without reason, causing financial hardship and frustration with customer service response.
They have Closed my account has given no reason I have got over$ 900 in account I cannot access , I’m late in Rent have no food no petrol and customer service tells me could take up to 30 days I have contacted a ombudsman this is absolutely unacceptable how a bank can let a member for over a year with no money I am so angry at the moment

Customer received unnecessary email from ubank requesting details update after recent phone conversation, seeking resolution and no further contact.
I received an email from ubank today april11 requesting I confirm my details on my ubank account - on march19 at 6.44 pm I had a 13 minute telephone conversation with a ubank representative based in Sydney ( phone 02 90587400) where the update of my details was fully completed and I was advised this was not required for a further 5 years—- I suggest you resolve this matter with your people in Sydney, and don’t bother me again ( at least for 5 years) Please don’t call, I won’t answer. Just fix it, and send me an email saying you are not going to bother me again A very unhappy ubank customer Peter Buchan email peternedlands@hotmail.com

Customer's account with ubank was locked without notice. ubank claimed account was closed with zero balance, but $500 was missing, leading to accusations of theft.
My internet banking and keycard were locked by ubank with no notice or explanation I was told that ubank was going to close the account in 30 days When the account was locked it had a balance of five hundred odd dollars in it I have contacted ubank this morning and have been told that the account has been closed and for the account to have been closed it had to have a zero balance The account could not have been closed because it had a positive balance of five hundred dollars so with what I had been told about it requires a zero balance for closure to occur Ubank has somehow managed to take the money out of the account producing the zero balance required for closure of the account to occur The money that was in the account has not been returned myself so the only conclusion I can arrive at is that UBank has stolen the funds from my account

Customer's friend sent $200 from their phone without permission, ubank denied fraudulent transaction, no response from support team after 5 attempts.
I had a friend (not a friend anymore) go onto my phone while i was in the toilet. He was getting ready to leave when I went to the toilet. When I come out of the toilet he said his Uber arrived and we said our goodbyes. I checked my phone several minutes after he left and I seen the notification come up saying he sent $200 to himself. When I contacted Ubank they said they'll investigate. They denied my fraudulent transaction. They told me in an email, that they asked him to give the money back and apparently he said no, so they didn't revert the transaction.. I've contacted them 5 times via their support team and they haven't replied to me...

Customer unable to access money due to ubank app outage, id verification issue, account lockout, and lack of assistance for urgent financial needs.
I spoke to UBank about transferring money from my account when they had the app and online was I outage and I couldn't get access to my money in the save account and they said to do a identified with my ID and I done it and then they say they can't do the transfer and I have to wait for the internal team to look into it and then I got lock out of the app and I can't access my account and I got a email next days saying that the account is going to be closed and I call them about access my money which they say I can't access it and I have to wait for the internal team to contact me which can take a week and I told them that I need my money to live on cause I have a little boy to take care as well but I don't get any help about it and frozen my account and they will cancel the account but why I can't access my money if it is the case

I was locked out of my account then completely locked out when I received an email stating that I now am being off boarded in 30 days my accounts will be closed due to a decision made by internal team I called and got no response as to why this was happening only that now any further communication will be by email only and I may not call ubank to discuss any resolution.

Ok so U Bank has had app and Online issues for the last two days resulting in two days loss of wage for me as I could not access my money also resulting in incoming payments being delayed I am a new customer to U bank and I heard alot of bad reviews about this Bank but I gave them the benefit of the dougt but the bad reviews are starting to ring true and I maybe starting to regret the move to Ubank I hope they sort everything out because this is more than an inconvenience for me anyway 2 days loss of wages= -$400 for me and I very much dougt that ubank are going to compensate me for that wishful thinking NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.😡

Customer's ubank account was locked due to identity verification issue. no response from ubank for two weeks, causing financial hardship.
U bank locked my account. I called and they said I had to verify my identity, I sent I'd in they said it had to be valid. I found my current id and sent into them. It's been two weeks. Heard nothing from them. I call them just about everyday and noone can tell me anything. I have two small children and I'm a window. School holidays and no access to any funds for two weeks.

My partner who is in her 80’s opened a high interest savings account earlier in the year at I believe was 5%. I understand she just remained inactive with the account so she could see the great returns down the track. However a few days ago I asked how her investment was progressing only to find that there were no returns of significance at all! She had linked it with her NAB account and organized her $200 a month transfer as required. She was extremely upset and subsequently made contact twice with Ubank to find out what happened but remained very distraught. . She has now closed this account but leaves Ubank without the funds she had planned for. Surely there must be some form of compensation when she did what was asked in the promotion I saw and yet nobody at Ubank had contacted her to explain that her investment was not as it should be.
