Complaint regarding strong odour from asphalt works and noisy drivers on hartman road, seeking investigation and action
My concern is the leakage of vapours from I am thinking the asphalt works in Landsdale. Every morning there is a very strong odour!! I think it should be investigated as I do not think it can be good and it is certainly very unpleasant!! Also something should be done to curb the idiots who scream up and down Hartman Road in their cars most nights but are far worse on weekends!! Thank you in advance for hopefully looking into these things!

Customer complains about wanneroo council demanding certification report for already approved wall, seeking reimbursement for costs, facing threats and bullying.
They issued me with building order for a limestone retaining wall that was council approved in 2010. As they are now going to build a public access walkway next to my property, which is useless as there's a big drop off at the end of my property and leads to the street behind but nothing really special. I have been trying to understand why this requires a BA when it was built to engineers specifications and they approved it. It took me quiet sometime to actually find a certifier as they are all booked and busy, and had the council calling my up to 3 x times a day at one point. I have asked then to reimburse me to the cost for this, to which i am ignored and all my request to have a representative meet me onsite have fallen on deaf ears. Why the council who has their own Building approval division cannot send out there own certifier to access is beyond me, as all they are wanting to know if its compliant, which it is as they( the council) approved it. I did eventually found and hired a certifier to call out to which have since advised that yes my wall is fine and compliant. So because the council are building the walkway, this should be on them to cover any costs to their project, otherwise why are we paying rates? this is not a cheap cost either, and then they want me to pay further costs for a piece of paper to say the wall is certified, no just the original report. This is in the thousands not hundreds of dollars to do this, why should I have to pay this when its on them, there building the walkway, my wall is fine and council approved and now there demanding this report sent to them or there threatening to take me to the STAT. I've requested payment of what I had to pay for the report, and this request gets ignored and they continue on their "you've got 7 days to send this" or we can be charged penalties of thousands of dollars. i'm sick if there threats and bullying emails and calls, please assist what can I do ? As we did the right thing all along by going through the council to build the wall correctly in the first place. They can have the report for the cost given to them and any other expenses i have to pay for my already compliant wall they should reimburse me for.

Complaint about increasing number of vehicles parked on small blocks approved by council, causing safety issues and congestion in wanneroo.
I am loathe to have this persued, however the increasing numeracy and prevalence of situation calls for council to act. I refer to the increase in multiple vehicles on and next to these small blocks that Council approved. Some properties have up to six vehicles parked in driveways on verges and in the street in front of the property. Add boats, campers and caravans in some instances and a real safety issue is emerging with small children darting from and between vehicles. A vehicle parked in the street opposite the driveway of the property opposite causes real congestion and tight manoeuvring situations. The verge parking restricts visibility on these already blind corners for pedestrians. Send a patrol before 0630 and after 1830 to Capricorn. Streets such as Seaside, Explorer and Beach Haven will illustrate the issue. I understand houses now get shared. Housing is scarce, however this situation needs an early intervention before a death occurs because of it. Again I am hesitant to raise it however I see future issues arising that some gentle action by Council might stop. Sincerely Max Ross

Customer is upset with wanneroo council for lack of response to ranger assistance request regarding neighbor parking on their property.
I called for ranger assistance yesterday. My neighbour keeps parking on my property, so I called for the ranger to attend. However, they didn’t even call me back or come to my house. This is the second time this has happened. This is not good enough, why didn’t I get any correspondence?

Customer complains about lack of bus bays on shorehaven blvd causing traffic issues and safety concerns, requests action from wanneroo council.
How can you put bus stops a long Shorehaven BLVD without bus bays ? Seriously ? It’s one lane. No way to overtake. After driving home 45 minutes then to get stuck behind not one but sometimes two busses. This is an accident waiting to happen. People will try to get over the median strip. <br />Please tell me you are going to put bus bays in the street ??
