Customer experienced multiple issues with ezylocker system, leading to loss of belongings and missed appointment. seeking refund and resolution from darwin waterfront precinct council.
Hi, I have been using the new locker system this weekend at the waterfront. The first time on Friday I purchased two lockers (1-day use) for a fair bit off stuff as my car had broken down and needed 24-hour storage my personal and work related equipment, until I could move in to the next place. Within the first few hours of using the lockers, I went back to login to BOTH my lockers and the system had no recollection of me putting my gear in the lockers. I called a man in the evening (on the 4-hour Ezylocker phone number provided) about 3am to collect my gear as I had returned from a family funeral service that evening and the mourning kicked on into the later part of the night. Upon speaking to this gentleman, he had no idea as to why my details had been wiped from the system about the purchase of both lockers and he seemed to have very little concern for my belongings due to the hour which I was forced to call at. He got them back open by resetting his system quite easily on his end but the next day I returned and a similar situation occurred again strangely enough, and I had to call again. He claimed that I was being rude, which was not the case, as I am a Yogic person and treat all with total respect. I told him I was recording the conversation into my phone after he went off at me and abused me a few times and he hung up as soon as I mentioned this in panic. It was extremely unprofessional and no one should b treated like that when the situation was out of my control. I asked for a refund as the service provided was not up to what should be expected, and he said there was no way I was getting a refund, even of just the $7 I paid for the lockers. I again purchased a third locker on Saturday (Locker 33) and put my $2500 surface pro and Life-coaching work equipment inside for a use with a client on Sunday 10th morning. I returned on Sunday morning at 9am only to find that AGAIN I was locked out and I asked security politely to open it for me. He said he could not do this and I told him that this was going to cost me $111 as that was what I was going to get for the hour appointment with my client. As with the Ezylocker man, The security guard Haman had no concern whatsoever about my predicament and said that he texted Ezylocker and the Ezylocker employee had made up a story about me being abusive to him instead, which never occured and he would not open my locker with his system on his end this time. After an hour of inaction from both these gentlemen, I missed my appointment and lost my clients fees which I needed greatly ATM. I have a situation now where the Ezylocker boss is with-holding my computer and work equipment from me, and I have to leave town this evening. Could someone please investigate what has occured here and email me back on: lachlan.conway2@gmail.com as to when tonight I can come pick this up. Kind regards, Lachlan Conway lachlan.conway2@gmail.com Ph: 0432713022
