Customer seeks $650 reimbursement from raa for vehicle transport from nundroo to ceduna due to mechanic issue, threatening to cancel insurance.
Hi, My member number is 26642570 & name is Barry Drewer we live in Fowlers Bay. We are writing this email to put in a claim for cost to be paid for our vehicle to be transported from Fowlers Bay to Ceduna. The Nundroo RAA service centre are unable to fix our car & that is why it needs to go to Ceduna to the mechanic that has just worked on it at Bec Motors. RAA in Ceduna refused to come & pick it up which would have cost us nothing. So RAA in Nundroo had to pick it up which meant we are left to pay $650. We have two RAA memberships plus House & contents, three vehicles & a caravan all insured with you. If you don’t do something about paying the extra $650 to transport it to ceduna We will be canceling all our insurance with you. If in future if we can’t get help where we live without having to pay a ridiculous amount we will be putting it on your face book for other members to see. Please respond asap as we are not happy. Customer received incorrect 5kw inverter instead of 3kw, seeking resolution and communication between raa and sa power networks to fix issue.
Good Afternoon my name is Adrian Guerin Membership No .71020000 . Your company installed a new solar system to our house 30/07/23 . You have installed a 5kw inverter instead of a 3 kw which as discussed to your solar department on the 30/05/24 . I have been in contact with Shane after ringing back so I could satisfy Origin Energy to place our account on hold to this case is investigated. We have had an email but no back up since. We are not impressed with the service from your group after listening on the phone how good you are for the last 25 minutes. Customers seeking pro rata refund from raa for downgrading roadside assistance level due to new car purchase.
I am wanting to reduce my road side assistance from Premium to Standard and would like a refund in the difference of price. I recently purchased a new car with roadside assist included. Rather than cancelling my full roadside with RAA, I was hoping to reduce the level. Currently it is due to expire Feb 2025. I’d appreciate a pro rata refund of overpaid funds

Raa discontinuing insurance policies in nsw without prior notice, seeking apology for lack of empathy towards loyal customers.
We have recently received via email that RAA will no longer be undertaking insurance policies within NSW (we are residents of Broken Hill) for either property or car insurance. No indication had been given earlier than this email RAA even had the audacity to accept our policies knowing that in 12 months time they would no longer accept the policies. As a family we have been with RAA for well over 10 years not only for personal insurance but business insurance. Once again it is a case of large organisations showing no empathy their loyal customers.

Customer complains about lack of communication and excessive charges at nova automatics, seeking apology and resolution from raa.
I had my car towed to nova automatics on 21march 2024.rang 22.rang to see how my car was going. Was told i will be contacted before any work was done. No contact was made. Rang 4 April and was told thay looked at the oil and test drove the car. 390$ was quoted 7000$ for repairs. I declined. I believe that my car should have been looked at the day it was booked in.no transport and no communication for 9 working days Not including the weekend before Easter and the Easter weekend. 6 days .I think 390$ is excessive for just looking at the car.and making me wait 2 weeks to look at my car is unacceptable. Not 1 call was made on the progress of my car. Looking forward to your response. Thanks Mark.

Raa failed to investigate car accident involving non-members, seeking apology and full investigation.
RAA did not fully investigate a car accident involving myself and my 16 year old grandson learner driver, in my Subaru, when we were hit by a white toyota hilux truck by a RAA client member which happened on 24th December 2023. Myself and my grandson are not RAA members. I have contacted RAA recoveries team on numerous occasions for updates about the accident for the past 4 months, but to no avail. I have been told by the recoveries team, they were still awaiting incident reports from their client. On every occasion I rang, I was notified that the recovery team are still awaiting a response from their client. I did not receive any feed back from the recovery team about any information on the accident/ time frame/ their client/ result. On Wednesday March 27th at 10:11 am, I spoke to a recovery team member for updates on the incident and still to no avail. I mentioned, I may need to take this further to the RAA ombudsman if this matter is not finalised soon. Within 1 hour of the phone conversation at 11:11 am Wednesday 27th March, I received an Email from the recoveries team regarding liability and are holding my grandson at fault. All parties involved have sent through all the witness statements RAA provided us to complete and return. No information or reports from the RAA client member had not been followed up. I was told, recoveries will determine the result with the information they have from myself and my grandsons statement. How can RAA determine the outcome without all the information.

Customer is complaining about an raa authorized repairer who painted over a damaged part instead of replacing it, and accuses them of robbery and fraud.
Ankit Kumar Member number: 30106882Claim Claim No. MC0705626 Incident date: 12 May 2023 Hi, I am very disappointed that your RAA Authorised repairer robbed ME and as well as YOU. He fuckin made me wait for more than 2 months for the parts (boot & rear bumper) but he (peace of corrupt SHIT) just re-painted my previous boot, instead of replacing it with new one. I am so much angry on this that he thinks that he can fuckin rob me off because I am an Asian. I am gonna take this matter to court and will not leave him for good at all. He is a fuckin day-light robber with RAA Authorisation signboard in front of his fuckin shop. I paid him $600.00 in cash when he finished his job. I checked the car fully it looked alright to me as it was painted and used rubbing polish on it. I come to know about his robbery when I washed my car and I saw that there is a previous egg-damage on my boot right side from a long time ago. He managed to paint and hide it with his fuckin moron skills but it got visible to me today when I was washing my car. On delivery of my car from him, I clearly asked him that are the parts brand new? He fuckin replied that "YES ABSOLUTELY". What a peace of SHIT he is! I must say, if you can't do anything about this then I will surely take a legal action and take this matter to court even I have to pay court fee and all. I swear to GOD that I will bloody SHOW him the stars in a fuckin day-light. I have no idea, how you gonna investigate it but It will be very helpful if you can investigate this matter and get me a resolution ASAP. One more thing, I don't want him to touch or fix my car again, I want a new dealer or Toyota itself to fix it as I have ZERO faith in him. Plus, I will make sure that his business comes to an end. These people are nothing but a TURMITE in insurance company committing an insurance fraud and ripping off RAA and their customers. People choose RAA Authorised repairer for a reason and he is ruining RAA's reputation for sure.

Customer is complaining about raa's lack of assistance and incorrect information regarding towing range and membership benefits.
Today Wednesday 31st January I needed assistance due to my motorcycle snapping a clutch cable. I was in Lyndoch not far from Gawler and only 67km from the CBD Adelaide. I rang RAA and gave my Gold membership number 57653300, member since 1978 (46 years). Firstly it took the woman on the phone 25 minutes to work out where I was, when I clearly explained it ! Secondly she informed me that a charge of $280 would need to be paid for transport home, Winton Ave Warradale. I was always under the impression that I had 100 km towing range, she informed me I was wrong. Maybe somewhere during my 46 years of membership, RAA changed the benefits for "Plus" members ? During 46 years of membership you could count on one hand the number of times I have required RAA assistance, I am not happy with the support I was offered today , so I will cancel my membership forthwith. RAA insurance have recently advised residents of Broken Hill that they will no longer be insuring us for home, motor, contents. Broken Hill residents have for many many years supported RAA & they announced this with no warnings. <br />Many residents now have to find new insurers.

Customer unhappy with unprofessional service from raa, switched to racq. previous complaint not resolved to satisfaction, prefers email communication.
Very bad unprofessional service 2 very disappointing phone calls from a previous complaint. I have chose to de register with RAA and joined RACQ again for a more professional service with a very good QAQC policy. The outcome from my previous complaint was a phone call telling me the same thing any correspondence in future is to be to my email address as phone calls could be anyone. Bye bye
