Customer complains about $7 parking fee at perth airport due to traffic delay, requests refund for less than 30-second stop.
I picked my wife up from Terminal 2 this evening (19/06/2024). There was a lot of traffic going to and from the terminal, however my wife was already waiting at the parking bay on Sugarbird Lady Road and I was only parked for less than 30 seconds. When I got to the boom gate it would not open until I paid $7. I should not have received a parking fee as the time taken was due to no fault of my own, and I think Perth airport should have a better system to manage this.

Complaint about slow and invasive security screening process at perth airport, seeking resolution and apology.
Fixed the bloody security screening. I can not go through once without having to be unwantingly touched. It's an invasion of my privacy not to mention the extremely slow process. The new scanners are shit or used incorrectly because they are Way to slow, less than 10 people in queue takes approximately 2 minutes per person. Don't even get started at peak hours at 5am, you'll be in queue for over an hour when the line is out the door.

Customer experienced profiling by security guard at perth airport, seeking apology and better training for staff to treat all passengers respectfully.
On Sunday 30th June, my husband , son and I came to the airport for our flight to Sydney at around 11 pm. Upon reaching security, my husband came through first with our son with no extra check. I was behind with our travel pram and got stopped by a security staff who quite rudely asked me what was on top of my pram. I proceeded to tell him it was a baby sleeping bag for pram ( footmuff). He continued his suspicion and checked if i was concealing anything on the pram. I clearly felt i was been profiled by this security guard as i am French- Caribbean australian and my husband is caucasian. A recommendation i would like to make is to better train your staff, regardless of their suspicion, to still treat passengers politely and respectfully.

Customer seeks $844 compensation and an apology for unexpected parking charges and lack of notification.
I made an error on the online booking portal for Perth Airport parking. I acknowledge this was a human error however my intensions were honest and genuine. Currently you can park in the longterm carpark at $99 for 99 days. I paid $223.60 for what I thought was 23 days of travel. So I was shocked in receiving a bill for an additional $844, taking my bill to a total to $1066. I was not notified of the overstaying. There was no attempt to alert me of the costs being accrued. If I had know I could have organised someone to go the the airport and move my car. I cannot pay this bill. I would like a fair resolution to this issue. I already paid double of the amount had I not been confused with the online booking. The airport customer service team have been smug and unhelpful in helping me to resolve this issue in a fair and humane manner.
