Customer seeks review of current plan for lower price option due to rising costs and usage needs.
I'm concerned I'm not on the best available deal for my nbn internet service. I've been an Exetel customer for around 5 years. With the rising cost of living, I want to make sure I'm on the best available plan for my needs. I'm currently paying $69.99 / month for the NBN Extra Value Internet 50/20 and I'm using around 250GB of data / month or less. I would like Exetel to review my account and let me know if there's a lower price plan available that fits my needs.

Customer experiencing zero television signal and slow internet connection with exetel's fttp service, seeking $100/month compensation for poor service.
I have zero television signal on all channels. I reset the Exetel hub in my garage and disconnected and reconnected all cables to the hub, and still no television signals. My internet data connection is also very slow.Exetel is providing its service via the Opticomm fibre network with a FTTP connection. I am paying Exetel $100/month for a really poor service, and I don't want to hear excuses where they try to shift blame to Opticomm. At that price they should be fighting for their customers with Opticomm to resolve these connectivity issues.

Complaint about internet outage with Exetel
On the 8th of September, a storm knocked out my internet. I brought it to Exetel’s attention as they are my ‘internet’ provider. After some tinkering around, they were unable to help and they escalated the issue with the service provider of the area; Opticomm. This was raised higher on the 13th of September. Since then, no one has even contacted me. They told me someone would contact me and organise a time and day for a technician to come out to my home. Nothing and no one yet. I’m beyond frustrated because I’ve raised the complaint with Exetel and they’ve again raised it with Opticomm with again, no success. I’ve raised a complaint as well with Opticomm. I can’t do my work from home, I can’t study! Everything’s behind. I don’t think they realise my actual service in my area is shocking so the internet speed on my mobile is useless. I’m stuck and I need help please.
