Customer unable to port to lyca mobile, experiencing connectivity issues and poor customer service. waiting for new sim card for 2 weeks.
Dear team, I tried to port from boost to lyca last to last friday, but it is still unsuccessful. Now my phone number is not reachable. I can't make calls and can't receive calls. I am in big trouble, disconnected from everywhere. I made a big mistake by choosing lyca on your false advertisements of lower rates. It takes around 20 mins to get connected with customer care by dialing 122 from others phone. They are acknowledging the issue with the sim card they sent and promised for send e new sim card from last 2 weeks. Ticket No: 102060691. And they didn't reply of your email if you send on help@lycamobile.com.au Please find below the details for your reference. Customer's sim card stopped working after lyca mobile transferred to vodafone. unable to reach help desk for assistance, seeking resolution and apology.
Since Lyca transfer to Vodafone my SIM card is not working. I have tried to call help desk so many times and spent more than 30 mins each call but no one pick up the phone. Can you fix this ?

Customer seeks aud 5983 compensation from lyca mobile for lost phone connectivity since june 02, 2024, affecting banking, tax returns, and family communication.
Problem: Lost phone connectivity from June 02, 2024 till date Lycamobile as a mobile service provider failed to restore my lost network from June 02, 2024. I have waited in patience for5 weeks and placed numerous phone calls with a wait time ranging from 45mins - 75mins Few Ref nos are as below: 101613961 - Initial lost network ref. nos. 101780337 - Purchased new sim and new > old phone trnfr 101780363 - Bundle Ext Request 101830900 - Free bundle ext. for two months. 101781817 - Promised running network in 24-48 hrs 101971749 - Hollow call back request ref. nos. 101972654 - Free sim dispatch ref. nos Finally, customer call on July 05, 2024 didn't yielded any results. Thus, instead of restoring mobile network, I received fake, hollow & false promises How the problem has affected you? 1. I can't register new bank a/c & discharge payment 2. I can't log on to ATO to review ATO messages & act in time 3. I can't submit ATO 2023-2024 tax returns - can't receive OTP 4. My daughter couldn't contact us due to dead phone & was dropped off home by stranger 5. Family can't relay any message to any one Expected Outcome: Acc. to Australian consumer rights for mobile services (https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/telecommunications-and-internet/problems-with-your-mobile-service), despite providing substantial time & considering inconvenience, connectivity & losing peace of mind a compensation of AUD 5983 should be good enough to settle the matter without adopting below path. It will be more, if we are forced to knock Australian Consumer Forum. I will look forward to your cooperation in this context. Hi, Hope you're well. I have been unable to receive SMS on my mobile despite making a payment and having the required balance as on 24 Jun 2024. I raised a complaint to Lyca Mobile on 22 Jub 2024 and was told that it is a known issue after migration to Vodafone network and the issue would be sorted within 24 hours. It's now been more than a week. Further I am not able to transfer mobile number to another service provider as it requires validation through SMS on the Lycamobile number. I am stuck paying money for service I am not receiving.

Hi, I recently signed up for a lycamobile service and have since discovered that you are transitioning from the Telstra network to Vodafone. No incoming calls or sms/mms etc I can make calls and have data access. That is all. I have restarted my phone every day and I have even bought a new phone. My number is 0431515359. I want incoming calls and sms to work please. This has been going on for 3 weeks and Lyca keeps saying network migration issues and be patient. Everyone I know who has Lyca has had theirs resolved within a day except for me!
