Customer moved house, upgraded to nbn, box not working, missed technician appointment, unresolved issue affecting work from home.
I moved house on the 23rd April, internet was connected & I was offered an upgrade to fibre to the node. I accepted this and an appointment to have the box put in happened on the 2nd of May. This was not made active until Friday the 10th of May to which the old service was disconnected, the new NBN box does not work, I called iiNet and complained, they said they would send a technician out Monday 13th May. No one showed up, I called iiNet and they stated they cancelled the appointment with NBN because they must have fixed the issue. This is not the case, I have no internet still, I have been through the troubleshooting over the phone 3 x in the last 4 days with each new person I speak to. Issue is still not resolved and I’m currently on hold with them once again. I work from home, I am unable to work until this is resolved.

Customer seeking 10 years credit from iinet due to consistent lack of service over 20 years, considering legal action.
I have basically had non service with iinet for 20 years. I pay religiously every month to receive nothing. I have made that many complaints and now I think they are threatening to cut it and im not sure why. Talk about a loyal customer who has remained even still receiving a shocking connection. I bieve they owe me at least 10 years in credit. I have solicitors appt for other issues so this will be raised too. This has affected me since we first signed on with this company.

Customer is unhappy with iinet service, experiencing frequent outages. seeking $80 compensation and planning to switch providers due to dissatisfaction.
It goes off tonight st 7.45 and every other night at 5 0r 6. I am fed up with the failure rate and will be getting rid of iinett in a few weeks.. for the cost of 80$ per month this is not acceptable!

Customer facing issues transferring mobile service to iinet, qr esim activation failed, charged 3 times without activation, seeking apology and resolution.
I attempted to transfer my mobile service to iinet from Vodaphone. The QR eSIM activation did not work. While speaking to an iiNet customer service representative about the transfer, Vodaphone disconnected my service. I have rung iiNet multiple times, engaged in emails and calls which I have proof of. I have had to get a new sim with another company to have phone and mobile access. I have been charged three times for a mobile service with iinet, yet my number has not been activated. I have been in contact with privacy person at tpg, and she has failed to return my emails and help me generate a new QR code … several days now. I have her emails, my return emails. I have phone records, people I spoke to at iinet for help over the last three weeks. I am going to pursue this to keep my long standing mobile number. I will be compiling a case to present to the Victorian Communications Ombudsman about the outrageous treatment I have endured. Names, dates, phone calls and emails…. And I am being charged, three times now, for a mobile service that was never activated.

Customer experiencing intermittent internet dropouts since 9 am, frustrated with lack of clear complaint process on iinet website.
Internet is intermittently dropping out since 9 am this morning. I have restarted multiple times my router and the NBN connection. My main complaint is that there is no obvious way to lodge a complaint about internet issues. You only get redirected to check your address. I don't need an outside website telling me everything is ok when clearly there is an issue.

Customer seeks compensation for 29 hours of outages over 25 days from iinet. concerned about daughter's safety and considering switching providers.
Over the past 25 consecutive days we have had four outages. 1. On 7/2/24 7.30pm to 8/2/24 12.40pm =18 hours 2. 22/2/24 =2.5 hours 3. 1/3/24 = 7 hours 4. 3/3/24 = 1.5 hours A total of 29 hours. My daughter is disabled and the internet is her only outlet and safety communication. I am concerned that this pattern of outages is going to continue regularly. I have been a customer for nearly 20 years and am starting to think maybe I should look around. I recently received an email advising me that my monthly charges are going to increase. I would like some compensation for the lost hours and a reassurance that these outages are going to cease.

My Pensioner Mother’s internet has been down for 2 weeks. I tried to call today and was told they could call me back on Sunday (it’s Tuesday). She lives at 32 Tambo St Kaleen ACT 2617. My sister called the other day and was told they couldn’t get anyone there. My mum can’t log into her banking, can’t pay bills, watch Netflix, Facebook she’s depressed. I will be leaving terrible reviews on any platform I can find until this is fixed. Terrible service.

Customer experiencing issues with iinet fixed wireless connection in barragup wa. technician adjusted antenna, now signal strength lights always show two lights.
Have been having issues with my iiNet fixed wireless connection in Barragup WA 6209. iiNet calls in nbn who send a technician. He climbs on the roof. Makes “adjustments” to the antenna and says “all good now”. What he’s actually done is “fix” the signal strength lights on the nbn box to permanently show two lights, even when there’s no signal. WTF??

Customer is complaining about not receiving a verification code to activate their sim after porting over from another provider. they are seeking a refund.
Signed up for the mobile service and payed for it. Was a port over from another telco provider which was disconnected by the time you guys got your ass into gear. Now I cant receive the verification code to log onto toolbox to activate my sim because it’s disconnected. Tied a few calls to iinet was told they can’t send it to my email instead but can send the account information and number to the email. Dosent even make sense So I asked for the refund and now they say that can’t happen. Is this illegal? She hung up on me refuses the refund or to transfer me to another person. all i want to do is use the service i payed for and to send the QR code to my email so i can use it.
