Customer is complaining about lack of internet service from westnet for 7 days, receiving inconsistent information and disconnections when contacting customer service.
It has now been 7 days I haven't had internet and each time I ring I get a different story or get disconnected.

Customer seeking refund for service not cancelled on requested date, multiple calls made without resolution, threatening to escalate to australian communications ombudsman.
Almost a week ago I wrote a complaint - surely you have a record of it. On Monday a representative of your organisation rang me to tell me that my complaint had been received and you would cancel my service immediately - April 30. Since then I have received another call from someone saying they were from Westnet asking if I wanted the service cancelled - I said it was cancelled on the 30th of April. Why has it taken so many people so much time and still you can't get it right??? I started a new service on May 1st - you were supposed to stop on April 30. My refund should be for the period May 1 - 12. As far as I am aware I have been using another service since you cancelled my service with Westnet/iiNet on April 30. You have many conversations over many hours to know why the service was cancelled. As i said - my service was cancelled on April 30 as one of your staff said. I will take this matter to the Australian Communications Ombudsman if I am further annoyed by these unnecessary matters. Call me if you need any further clarification - you have my details. A Oliver

Customer received spam emails from contacts pretending to be them, seeking apology and resolution from westnet.
I have had hundreds of emails from my contacts and more wondering how I am. This is the spam they all received. How are you, I’ve been really sick with a serious sore throat. I am very worried to think this rubbish can be sent everywhere.

Customer is experiencing issues with westnet/iinet's mail server and data usage. previous complaints have not been addressed.
I have again problems with Westnet and iinet. When checking emails I get a message”could not get mail the mail server ‘ mail.iinet.net.au’ is not responding etc. This has happened in the past. Westnet again sends me messages that I have used 86% of my 50GB data with the offer for me to purchase more data. It is not possible that I have used up that much data unless there is some illegal activity which has happened in the past and Westnet refuses to investigate. Westnet has not contacted me despite my repeated complaints
