Customer frustrated with lack of response and follow-up from opticomm regarding nbn installation, seeking contact and completion of work.
No response regarding booked installation, no one attended the property. Blockage for the NBN install to be completed, impossible to get a hold of anyone or actual follow up on the issue. Moving into the property today without any service despite initiating the request weeks ago. Need to be contacted as promised (hasn't occurred) and the work be completed today.

Seeking help from opticomm to address inconsistent internet connection in fern bay nsw 2295, affecting work from home and community.
We live in Fern Bay NSW 2295 (Seaside Estate) In Jan/Feb 2024, our 'Velocity' connection using Telstra had to be upgraded to 'Opticomm' network. We decided to stay with Telstra during this transition. Not only did the account to operate cost more, but the internet connection is worse than previously being connected on Telstra Velocity. It has been so inconsistent that for hours on end the internet has been down in the house and days it works and days it doesn't - our young family & I work from home, so we rely on this service to work consistently 24hrs connection to our home. The service is so inconsistent: that comments on Facebook and partitions are signed to take action. We need your help for someone to help our communitity correct this issue. It affects the whole of the estate (several hundred homes) please help us get this service to the standard that is advertised on the Opticomm website _ Opticomm have to get this service working in our location please. All we need is consistency in the operation of the internet connection to our homes in FERN BAY 'Seaside' Estate. We really need to get someone to please review the connection.

Customer upset with opticomm for lack of support on weekends, causing internet outage for many in qld.
Opticomm refers customers to their internet service providers. Yet, my internet service providers tells me their Opticomm team only works between 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday. So, today, Saturday, 23 March, I and many other people in Qld have no internet. Yet, Opticomm is offering no support?!

Frequent internet cut-offs for months, long outages, frustration with opticomm's service, seeking apology and resolution for unreliable fiber internet connection.
Over the past 4 months, almost every day we get cut-offs to the internet. Sometimes it may be for an hour, sometimes a few hours, However, lately it has been dropping out far more frequently and for long hours. Today 29/02/2024 our internet was out from morning till about 7:30 pm. I am fed up with this and am extremely frustrated considering this is supposed to be optic fibre and super-fast internet. we pay for services and pay large fees to get the services to the property we pay Opticomm first and then pay Aussie broadband for the monthly services of Opticomm FTTP 1000Mbps/50Mbps. I want to formally complain about Opticomm as they are the main provider of the line. I am happy with Aussie broadband as it is not a problem of theirs as they use the services provided by Opticomm. It is ridiculous as we need the internet consistently throughout the day and we have a 15-year-old teenager who needs the internet for his studies...In today's technology, why do I my family and others in the area have to deal with PATHETIC services like this? I refuse to accept this as we pay for this, and we are NOT getting what we pay for. Is someone going to pay me back for my time and lost internet?

Complaint about opticom's internet connection issue not attended to since 17/01/24, despite uniti's efforts.
Moved in on 17/01/24 and requested internet connection from Opticom’s registered ISP Uniti. Uniti confirmed that the opticom box at the premises is not working correctly. I have since tried to connect with Opticom but they haven’t responded. Uniti has been trying from their end but it still hasn’t been attended to on 4/02/2024. It’s an embedded network in an apartment building so I can’t do anything but wait.

Complaint about internet outage with Opticomm, causing inability to work or study from home.
On the 8th of September, a storm knocked out my internet. I brought it to Exetel’s attention as they are my ‘internet’ provider. After some tinkering around, they were unable to help and they escalated the issue with the service provider of the area; Opticomm. This was raised higher on the 13th of September. Since then, no one has even contacted me. They told me someone would contact me and organise a time and day for a technician to come out to my home. Nothing and no one yet. I’m beyond frustrated because I’ve raised the complaint with Exetel and they’ve again raised it with Opticomm with again, no success. I’ve raised a complaint as well with Opticomm. I can’t do my work from home, I can’t study! Everything’s behind. I don’t think they realise my actual service in my area is shocking so the internet speed on my mobile is useless. I’m stuck and I need help please.
