Customer seeks $500 compensation from sea world due to technical difficulties forcing family to end day early, unable to use amenities.
At approximately 4pm, my family's day was forced to an end due to, " technical difficulties". We could not go on the rides we wished to go on, nor could we refill our, " bottomless", cups or purchase food!!! I believe we should be compensated, post spending $500 on entering your park. My 13 & 11 year old children had their day completely ruined. I look forward to hear how you plan to rectify the issue!!!?

Customer seeks $630 refund or return tickets from sea world due to multiple closed rides during visit, requesting better communication for future guests.
Dear Sanjay ( GM), I am writing to express my disappointment with our visit to SeaWorld on the Gold Coast, which took place on 18 March 2024. My family and I were looking forward to a day filled with fun and excitement, having paid the full ticket price of $105 per person x 6 people = $ 630.00. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly diminished due to several rides being closed for maintenance. We acknowledge that maintenance is essential for ensuring the safety and efficiency of attractions. However, we were not aware of these closures until our arrival. We have since learned that this information is available online, but we believe that when multiple attractions are not operational, this should be communicated more prominently to potential visitors. Clear and conspicuous notifications on your website and at the ticketing booth would allow guests to make informed decisions about their visit. The lack of such communication resulted in a reduced level of service and a compromised experience for us and, presumably, for other guests as well. As regular patrons and supporters of SeaWorld (including shareholders of Seaworld Shares in the 1990s), we feel let down. In light of this, we kindly request that SeaWorld consider providing compensation for the inconvenience caused. A gesture such as a partial refund or complimentary return tickets would be greatly appreciated and would demonstrate SeaWorld’s commitment to customer satisfaction. We reside in WA, and Seaworld is always on our list of places to visit. In fact, we have 3 generations in our family, spanning back to our first visit to Seaworld in 1991 with our children, who are since married and attend with us with their children (our Grandchildren) to our annual holiday to the Gold Coast, which we also did last year in 2023 and visited Sea World. We trust that SeaWorld values its guests and their experiences and will address this matter with the seriousness it deserves. We look forward to your response and a resolution that reaffirms our confidence in SeaWorld as a premier family destination. I have attached the receipt. Our daughter Isabella organised the tickets online. If you would also like to see the receipt for the previous year when we visited Seaworld in March 2023, we are happy to locate it. Incompetent staff at sea world led to a traumatic experience on a children's ride, resulting in emotional distress and the need to leave the park.
My daughter (4) and I waited in line for a banana plane ride. The person operating the ride was incompetent, firstly she would stand not supervising people getting on the ride, her back turned and talking to someone through the fence. <br />When it was our turn we got on the ride and buckled the seatbelt with my daughter in the front section. It started to rain, she came around and checked the belts. Some others wanted to get off and she let them off. She came around to check belts again and someone’s belt didn’t fit. All the while we were sitting in a ride as the rain started bucketing down. She went back infront of the booth and was looking at the sky as the rain is pouring down, we are stuck locked into the ride. All the children are screaming and crying as we sat in the freezing cold wind now completely drenched. She was talking to someone on a radio and after a few more mins she came around releasing us from the ride. <br />My daughter who I couldn’t physically console due to the structure of the ride was an emotional mess and we ended up needing to leave the park as my daughter was frightened and we were completely soaked.<br />When it comes to children’s rides you need staff who can respond to situations in a safe and fast manner. This is a horrible experience.

Customer upset that most rides were closed for renovation during visit to sea world, seeking apology and resolution.
Yes hello l live in Sydney and l have just come back from Queensland visiting sea world, wet n wild and Dream world l got a 3 day pass for me and my fiancé and when we went to all these parks most of all the rides were closed for renovation for school holidays and that’s what we go there for, to have fun on the rides,!! It’s disgusting that we payed full price for rides that are not open, you definitely need to sort this out, l am totally upset with you all, me and my partner are both 72 yrs old wanted to have fun for the last time. And we got nothing,!! We are both on age pension and have been saving for one year to come and have fun at your parks, and we got nothing,!! So tell me what are you going to do about this????
