Customer seeking $270 refund from invocare for bank cheque error after father's funeral, frustrated by lack of response and poor customer service.
My father’s funeral was in May 2024 and when I came to pay the final amount my bank accidentally had the wrong amount on the bank cheque resulting in me needing a $270 refund. I was insured that this would be an easy fix. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting. I have called over 50 times and unable to get through, when I have gotten through to reception I have been cut off on the next step. Have left my name several times and my phone number and have been called once and told that this was not their forte. I have been passed on to someone else and then hung up on. This is disgusting, I have paid for this funeral out of my personal money and am relying on this money for my own personal use. Times are tough so do the right thing and return my refund. My invoice booking number is 2LJQ Funeral of Robert Henry Simpson at Le Pine Eltham Victoria. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and will be telling everyone of my experience. Customer is seeking explanation and apology from invocare regarding missing balance of mother's funeral bond, frustrated by lack of communication and honesty.
Neither Lester and sons albury Nor Foresters Funeral bonds can explain where missing balance of my mothers funeral bond has gone both stated they will look into it and I’ve been waiting heard nothing. I rang Lester’s today they have balance there surprise stated (waiting for head office to advise on sending back to Foresters) They lied over a month ago when I asked what happened to balance was told they sent it back to Foresters I’m totally confused and upset that I’ve been fobbed off by Lester’s, a bit of honesty would be nice.I would like some help concluding this matter as it is causing distress to my family and myself. .
