Customer seeking $600 reimbursement from specsavers for wrong prescription glasses, no action taken after notification.
Roselands Shop G017, Wrong prescription. I notified them but they have done nothing about it. I have paid $600 for a couple of pairs of glasses which can`t be used. I want re-imbursement of the $600

Customer received incorrect multi focal glasses, missing transition lenses, and was denied option to buy incorrect pair at reduced cost.
I received my new multi focal glasses and found whilst looking at things the words were wavy . I went back and they ordered a new pair as the assistant had placed the multifocal in the wrong place .Today I pick up the new pair and they are missing the transition lenses that I previously paid for. So third time they are being made up to the script that I originally paid for . I asked what happens to the previous glasses that were incorrect could i keep them or buy at a reduced cost so I have a back up pair I was advised no as they go back and are recycled. IF they are going to be recycled then why them at a reduced cost when it is their fault not mine at all... I will not be returning to this store. Thankyou Cheryl Clemens

Customer seeks refund and apology from specsavers after multiple failed attempts to correct glasses, feeling blamed for the issue.
Good Afternoon I have attended specsavers Whyalla 6 times trying to get my glasses correct. I have had Martin check my eyes twice and I have had my frames changed my multi focal adjusted still unable to wear my glasses as they seem to have a lag in the scope of vision. I had my eyes checked again late 2023 Spec savers supplied computer glasses I was told this was the last time they can adjust my glasses making me feel like it was my fault they could get my glasses right I still can’t wear these I am forced to get my eyes tested with eyre eyes as I have had no satisfaction with spec savers with my multi focal lenses. I am very disappointed , it has been a total waste of my time as I am still unable to wear my glasses, I have had Emma go above and beyond to help. I would like to have a refund as I will attend another vendor to get my eyes tested and obtain new glasses. If you can contact me via email. I work Monday to Friday 9-5 unable to have personal calls I will phone back when I get a lunch break Eva Quirk

Customer seeks refund for 3 pairs of glasses due to misdiagnosis at spec savers resulting in cataract surgeries.
On 16/08.23 .. visited Spec savers Bankstown to get eyes tested and a referral to eye specialists. I was told the current prescription eyeglasses were to strong and I would have to get new glasses. I felt pressure to buy the glasses even though I had difficulty in reading the chart.I prepaid for 3 pairs of $39 glasses and waited for the glasses to come. I then went to pick them up on the 23.09.23 one pair was missing so I left them to contact me when found,third pair still at Spec Savers Bankstown .I tried the glasses on arriving home to find they were worst than the last prescription .On 27.09.23 I went to the Eye Specialist Dr Binetter for scans and eye injections. As they did the eye scan they found I had cataracts and they were unable to make an assessment and told me I need emergency cataract surgery on both eyes .,which I have just completed at Dr Binetter North Shore surgery, right eye 5/10/23 and left eye 04/11/23.I have very bad health and not able to get around much.As I have not been able to wear the 3 pairs of prescription eye glasses Due a miss diagnosis at Spec Savers I would like a refund for the 3 pairs..I have receipts for the eye glasses and the cataract surgeries..please could you advise?

Customer upset by rude and overreacting employee at specsavers, seeking apology for the incident involving a computer screen.
I attended specsavers castle plaza edwardstown south australia on thursday april 4 about 2pm. approached desk, asked for an appointment. young woman at desk took my details, had a joke about my date of birth then proceeded to make an appointment. whilst standing there I accidently touched the back of the computer monitor with my phone. the lady in question reacted as if i had dropped a bomb. called out quite loudly "careful u will break MY computer. <br />problem one: total over reaction<br /> two: very rude<br /> three; it wasn't a computer its was a screen<br /> four: it wasn't her anything. <br />i am really cheesed of. this young lady needs to come down of her high horse, learn that an employee does not speak to customers in that manner, does not over react to small incidents and it is not her computer it was in fact a screen belonging to screensavers. I may look old, but i am not stupid.<br />i was working with real computers before she was born. an apology would be nice. thanks for your time.

I got a new frame from specsavers, i saved up, and went back only a few weeks later, to Waverley Gardens specsavers, only to be INTIMIDATED! by a man @ specsavers, who REFUSED TO ACCEPT MY "NEW" FRAME! & give me this supposed "discount" they are ADVERTISING For multifocal lenses, WAVERLEY GARDENS Specsavers are DISHONEST ROBBERS!!, , I WANT A REFUND!!, FROM SPECSAVERS!, for these new frames, and I will go somewhere else!!, STOP DELIBERATELY ROBBING INNOCENT HONEST WOMEN!!, SPECSAVERS, WAVERLEY GARDENS!!, AND STOP DOING "FALSE ADVERTISING"!<br />I'd like a REFUND, ON THESE BRAND NEW FRAMES, AND MIGHT GO TO ANOTHER OPTICIAN!, I "DONT DESERVE TO BE "INTIMIDATED"!!, by the tall man,at SPECSAVERS,W:G''s! Customer experienced poor communication and order issues with Specsavers, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction with service and reimbursement delays.
I needed to order contact lenses. I phoned Grantham my local store where I am registered. The phone was not answered and eventually I received a message asking me to leave my phone details and they would phone me back, they didn't (three times I phoned).<br />I went on line and the auto assistant told me they would get Grantham branch to phone me. They didn't. This was on 22/7/24. I decided to order my contact lenses on line via your Newark branch. The order was accepted and paid for. Today 23/7/24 I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. I phoned Newark and spoke to a very helpful lady (Christina) who explained that my prescription was out of date, it isn't, it was issued at Grantham 7 months ago. She then told me she would ask Grantham branch to phone me. They did and I was able to order (fingers crossed it will not becancelled).<br />You now have payment for two orders. I don't expect for one minute you will re-imburse for the cancelled order as quickly as you were paid! I am a disabled OAP living on a meager state pension but I expect you will hang on to my money as long as you can.<br />No wonder you have to keep advertising for new customers when you treat the ones you have so badly.

Customer complains about poor service and lack of acknowledgment from staff at Specsavers, requesting an apology and better training for employees.
Kiarta( I think that is her name) at rouse hill town center needs serious customer service training. I came in with my elderly father on Sunday the 28th July 24 . After waiting at the service desk for service I could see sge saw us waiting. I asked her if we could get some help. Sge replied with to me that they were short staffed and as I could see she was with a customer.i then replied that's fine but my issue is not waiting my issue is that you did not acknowledge us or wven make eye contact.a smile goes along way in customer service.at the end of thr day it is not our issue u r short staffed . And that should not be her excuse to acknowledge customers that are clearly waiting!!!

On the 23rd July 2024 to collect two pair or glasses. One red pair are excellent, unfortunately the second pair are way to uncomfortable and huge. I was encouraged by staff they looked good. Very disappointed that on inspection they are mens glasses.
