Customer complains about golgate total dental floss being too thick and breaking off, wants product improvement and an apology.
Golgate Total Dental Floss is the worst Floss I have used. It breaks off in my teeth and gets stuck. The floss is too thick. I am worried my teeth will break trying to get it out.

Customers are complaining about the new recipe of colgate total dental floss, stating that it is unusable and breaks easily.
Colgate Total Dental Floss
Used it for many years. Was excellent until now. Why change the recipe?
I opened a new box 7 Jan 2024 (I had 6 new packs on hand), and same complaints as the other users - it's TERRIBLE. Unusable and good for the garbage. It strips apart while you're flossing your teeth. I get little bits of fluff stuck in between my teeth after flossing now. Breaks very easily. Too thick compared to the original.
Scared it is going to damage fillings or crowns. Ended up taking recommendations from other customers with same issues and switching to CHEMIST WAREHOUSE brand, HEALTH and BEAUTY 100m DENTAL FLOSS @$2.99 It is similar to the ORIGINAL Colgate Dental floss (if not better.) CW were out of stock of the "plain" brand. Ended up trying the "mint" which was perfect. Thin, very easy to use, did not tear or break.
Binned the Colgate and ordered 1 x dozen of the alternative.(Plain)
