Customer received poor service at cotton on body store, not greeted or assisted while trying on items, left without making a purchase.
Very poor customer service. I entered the Carindale Cotton On Body store at 9:30am, wasn’t greeted or spoken to until I asked to try on 3 sports bras. I walked around the store in close proximity to the only girl working and it felt awkward as not a word was spoken. I again wasn’t spoken to until I left. All 3 sports bras that I tried on were a size too small, and if I had been seen to in the change room I would have purchased all 3. But due to the lack of service I didn’t try on the next size up and decided to leave instead. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Complaint regarding staff misconduct at cotton on miranda fair, seeking investigation and response to address the issue.
You keep staff employed after you have been told numerous times by numerous people of their illegal activity within the store at Cotton On Miranda Fair. Also you do not respond when being asked by these people that have been continually harassed by your staff member and what have you done about it?? The outcome would be a RESPONSE as to why nothing has been done as we have since seen this staff member still working there. Absolutely disgraceful!!! Also is going to be taken further from multiple people as to how your disgraceful behaviour has badly affected multiple people.

Customer complains about the rude and dismissive behavior of a staff member at cotton on, and suggests adjusting staffing schedule to improve customer service.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to Cotton on Castle Hill store. On 27 Jan 2024, at approximately 4:20pm, I arrived at Castle Hill store with the intention of purchasing maternity pants. After spending nearly 20 minutes carefully selecting the items I wished to purchase, I proceeded to the fitting room area. However, I was informed by the staff at the entrance that the fitting rooms were closed for cleaning for a duration of 10 minutes. Understanding the situation, I patiently waited nearby for the fitting rooms to reopen. However, at 4:45pm, a staff member with pink/purple hair, whom I believe to be in a managerial position, approached me and abruptly informed me that the store was closing and I needed to proceed to the register. Despite explaining that I had not yet tried on the pants and therefore could not make a purchase decision, her response was incredibly impolite and dismissive. (“You could return back to the store another day”). This contradictory information was confusing and inconvenience, especially as there were still approximately 15 minutes left until the store’s closing time at 5pm. Additionally, upon reaching the register, I overheard the same staff member making derogatory remarks about me, (“She really pissed me off”) which only added to my frustration and disappointment. This behavior is completely unacceptable and does not align with the standards of customer service I expect from your store. Furthermore, when I requested her name or clarification on her role within the store, she refused to provide any information. (She said she is one of the Heads) The lack of trenchancy and professionalism only added to my frustration and disappointment. Ultimately, I was forced to quickly make a decision on the items I chose and leave the store without trying on the items I had carefully selected. This experience not only inconvenienced me but also left me feeling disrespected as a customer. Upon reaching the register, I was informed that I could return or exchange the items as long as the tags remained intact. This contradicted the earlier instance on closing store promptly at 5pm, as it was only 4:49pm when I completed my purchase. I strongly believe that such a rushed and disrespectful approach to customer service reflects poorly on your establishment. As a loyal customer for more than 5 years, I expect a higher standard of professionalism and courtesy from your staff. Initially, I considered sharing my disappointing customer service experience and personal encounter on social media or the company’s Facebook page, but I believe it’s best to communicate directly with the company first. I urge you to address this matter promptly and take appropriate measures to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future. Upon reflection, I believe that adjusting the staffing schedule to allow employees to finish their tasks after the store is officially closed could alleviate some of these challenges. Allowing staff members to remain on-site for an additional 15-30 minutes after closing time would provide them with the necessary time to complete their tasks efficiently without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. This adjustment would also ensure that customers receive the level of service they expect, even during the final moments of business hours. I believe that this adjustment could benefit both customers and staff alike. Additionally, I would appreciate if you could provide me with assurance that my concerns have been heard and addressed. Thank you for your attention to this matter, I look forward to your prompt response.
