Customer frustrated with difficulty accessing account and seeks an apology from Macquarie Bank after multiple unsuccessful attempts.
I have tried 3 times now to view my account with a initial set up and still no result. Macquarie Bank make such an easy task so difficult. This is by far the worse bank I have dealt with. Please tell me why it is so hard to view my account?

Customer frustrated with macquarie bank locking account multiple times without explanation, impacting ability to comply with ato demand for superannuation tax.
I have had a Cash management account with Macquarie bank for my Family Trust's superannuation fund (Sanghvi Superannuation Fund) for approximately 10 years. There had been no issue until last year when I decided to move some funds from this account to other Australian banks in order to procure better Fixed Deposit interest rates. At the time Macquarie bank locked me out of my account as a precautionary measure pending my explanation that this was a legitimate transfer following which the access was restored. This year, some 9 months later, Macquarie has blocked access to my account again despite no further suspicious transaction. They contacted me and queried the transactions that had occured the previous year yet again and was given the same explanation as previously. They insisted on being told which banks I had transferred my funds to which I refused to divulge. The matter was apparently resolved by their fraud division and the account was unlocked for a couple of days, following which the account has once again been locked without any further explanation being provided. I am increasingly frustrated by this repeated inexplicable behaviour by the bank and would appreciate your assistance in this matter. In particular I have an ATO demand for outstanding Superannuation tax which I am unable to comply with as I do not have access to my account. It is likely that I will be liable for interest and penalty payments if this situation continues.

Customer complains about macquarie bank closing account without notice, denying incorrect advice. unsure if worth complaining to bccc.
They closed my account without any notice to me. I started complaint with Afca. They denied numerous of their advice & statements were incorrect and not part of Australian banking system. Perhaps Afca did not request enough info from them to verify their inadequacies. Numerous issues with them and don’t know if worthwhile complaining to BCCC.

Customer opened an account with macquarie bank, transferred money, account was closed, money went missing, macquarie admits to having the money but won't return it.
Hi I opened an account online with Macquarie bank as they had a high interest rate. When the account was opened I was sent emails asking me to be quick and send money to the account. I transferred a large amount of money to the account with assistance with my bank and the following day Macquarie had closed the account. The money went missing for 10 days and I was continually told the account is closed and there is zero balance. After many phone calls and complaints Macquarie admit to having the money. Now they won’t return it to my original bank account. It’s now been over two weeks. I would like some help/advice on getting my money back.

Customer complains about macquarie bank blocking account access and delaying review process for 2 weeks.
Macquarie blocked my access to my account on 11th Jan 2024 and put it under review after I opened account and had a few deposits in. The specialist returned my call the next day and hoped he could finish the review in 5 minutes whilst on the call but later decided he needed more time. However, it's been 2 weeks of silence ever since for a newly opened with very few transactions is becoming unacceptable. I want a conclusion now.
