Customer scammed, account compromised, unauthorized transactions made, bank investigating for over 3 months, seeking assistance due to stress and health issues.
Realised I was scammed on the phone, tried to ring MyState but it was too late rang the next day which was Saturday the 10th March 2024, they advised they would freeze my a/c & would send another card ASAP, at this stage nothing had been taken out of my account. However on the next statement there was 6 transactions which had been taken out on the 10th & the 13th of March totaling $11,065.37. We have been in continual contact with them ever since & was advised the account had been re-activated when someone rang claiming they were me & the opened a/c again. Since then they have admitted they listened to their tapes & the person who rang was obviously not me but whoever spoke believed them & opened the a/c. I ring continually & they just keep telling me this is under investigation & will take a while longer yet. This has been happening since the beginning of March which is now more than 3 months ago but still no results. I am elderly & not well so having the added stress of having to chase this all the time is not helping. Is there anyway that you are able to help me with this problem?

Customer's account frozen, no response for 5 days. bank requires id verification via post, causing delays and frustration.
Froze account and will not return calls. After chasing this up for 5 days they finally say that i need to verify ID and send it via post. They then tell me that they dont get the post every day. My ID is sitting in HOBART Post office and has been there for 5 days with no contact.

I've tried to make a purchase but it want let me and I've been and seen my local branch and they said that it's all been fixed but hasn't so I'd like it to be fixed so I can get things online and make a purchase if I want it
