Customer seeks reinstatement of phone number 0407 725 852 from aldi, but is informed it cannot be recovered after 10+ months of expiration.
Please refer to the original message and my email response below for further information detailing my complaint. Dear Aldi Mobile Team, The following response is not acceptable given the numerous calls that i have placed with the Aldi Mobile team, which i will further explain below. When i first called on or about Tuesday 2 July to reinstate mobile number 407 725 852, I was informed that the number had been returned to the original phone number issuer and to contact them for re-issue of the number. I therefore met with Telstra, Optus and Vodafone they all informed me of the same message that the number will be in 365 days of quarantine which is controlled by either Aldi or government telco service before it is released for use by any telco following lapse of the quarantine period. I then called Aldi Mobile on Thursday 4 July to inform the operator of the above advice and requested my number be re-instated to me. He referred my case to his manager during the call and he agreed to release my number provided I obtain an Aldi SIM card to allow porting of the number. I purchased an Aldi SIM card and called again on Fri 5 July to reinstate my number. During the call on Fri 5 July and contrary to the advice during my call with Aldi Mobile on the 4 July, that i was then informed that due to the length of time lapsed that it was no longer possible to have my number reinstated. Despite pleading my case following the advice given from the day before i was told that management would further review and get back to me within 2 business days (which should have been by COB Tue 9 July). I received no response within 2 business days and i again called Aldi Mobile on Fri 12 July, 1 week later, to be given the same message relating to time being elapsed. I spoke with a senior operator and he offered to refer my case to management - which resulted in the following email advice from Aldi Mobile which lacks substance to any rational reason why my number cannot be released. When i asked the manager on the call on Friday 5 July as to the reason for why the number cannot be release by said it was due to the Aldi system. I asked if it was Australian government policy or Aldi only and he advised Aldi’s own policy, which i don’t understand why it can’t be overridden? Back story relating to my (my wife’s) phone number. She has had this phone number for over 35 years. 5 years ago we moved overseas for work and i therefore placed this number (along with another number, 0419 137 854 which plans were successfully updated) under the care of Aldi Mobile and used it when we returned to Australia to visit, the plan had been updated during those visits. I do not have record of receiving a renewal email from last Sept or any subsequent follow up email to state that the number will be removed within a timeframe. I respectively request that my case be further reviewed to allow release of 0407 725 854. I have an Aldi Mobile SIM with number 4000 0336 7823 2 purchased following the call on Thur 4 July ready for the number to be ported across to. I am also more than happy to take out a further mobile plan with Aldi Mobile and pay for any associated costs with the process. I look forward to receiving a favourable response from Aldi Mobile. Difficulty sourcing aldi sausages for community events despite placing orders in advance, impacting quality and convenience for burpengary men's shed.
Hi, we at Burpengary Men's Shed do Sausage Sizzles for Bunnings and other Community Groups in and around our district. Over the past 6 years we have constantly tried to source Aldi Sausages. We have found them to be far superior to other suppliers. Not only to our tastes but from positive remarks from the customers. We have trouble in sourcing them from the local Aldi, even though we place an order 4 to 5 days prior to the event. This is not the first time we have had this problem. I have previously been assured that if an order is placed, it should be filled. I have had times that no sausages have been available (even though the order has been placed) and have had to travel to other stores to fill the order. I would rather support the local store. We order 20 to 30 packs at a time and do 2 and sometimes more in a month. Can this complaint be addressed please. Customer upset about missing out on advertised product at aldi due to inaccurate stock checker and immediate sell-out by other customers.
I sometimes miss Aldi ‘Special Buys’ & accept I miss out. I was determined to purchase ‘Lacura Beauty Ultra Tinted Lio Balm’ $9.99 advertised in store Sat 4 May 24 (delayed). Aldi ‘stock checker’ showed availability at some distant stores. Last week became available in my local stores ie Haymarket/Leichhardt/Darlinghursthowever despite checking every day it was not available to purchase. Store rep told me a couple of ladies bought it all as soon as it arrived last Monday. ‘Store checker’ showed it there last Thursday - store rep said it arrived Monday & sold immediately. How did this happen? I was there Monday morning & evening (no item tag left to show where it had been). ‘Stock Checker’ was wrong, (still shows some stock available). How did ‘ladies’ know exactly when to buy & why were they able to buy the complete stock that seems never was available for customers to purchase? I’ve checked other random Aldi stores - no stock - why? Aldi ‘stock checker’ is completely inaccurate - unreliable in any form. I’m so dissappointed. Where can I a regular Aldi customer purchase this?

Customer complains about aldi employee creating unnecessary drama and distress over dogs in car, seeking resolution and employee termination.
The blonde check out woman at Plainland Qld Aldi (before and after 4.30pm today) complained to numerous customers about dogs within car in Aldi carpark, whipping up false conjecture, false concern and needless spectacle over her misplaced judgements. And as I walked past from another checkout, as the owner of those dogs, overhead her. I queried her and she complained that 'they'd been shopping for an hour' to which I replied, 'just as well the back window was popped open', but she wasn't satisfied. I do hope you record your worker interactions to document just how many people she unprofessionally moaned to. Or at least, go through your cameras to see how many customers turn their heads to look through the window. And her mocking gestures mentioned below. Before I left, took photo of my somewhat shaded vehicle & windows open this late autumn afternoon. Plus of the worker more interested in whipping up strife than doing her job. Because her bitching to every single customer that went through, continued as they all gawked on her cue for who knows how long she'd been bitching for, to everyone passing through her checkout. This continued as I was unloading groceries and going to and fro trolley return then leaving the premises. Since the time I was aware, well over a dozen Aldi customers/people were drawn into her drama, yet it was clear that she'd been doing so for longer, as a young mother was attempting to approach my dogs. Which is distressing for them. We conversed and she relayed some of the ridiculous claims/suppositions the Aldi worker had made. This Karen whipping up a frenzy also mocked me, whilst smirking, by putting up her hands to mimic my having taken her picture - done in order to identify her for this complaint - as I drove out, with yet more customers she was apparently meant to be serving, staring instead at me outside, according to her preoccupation. As someone on disability due to trauma, it was a needless upset to be subjected to this supposed do gooder conspiring to involve others in group humiliation. There were no grounds to involve animal welfare yet she pretended that that was the case by meting out her rage disguised as concern. The only harm my dogs encountered was being approached by strangers due to her nonsense. Which could have been dangerous for your Aldi customers, had I not intervened, barely in enough time. And having to pick up on the bad energy of our being singled out for ridicule. She has no context for why the dogs were with me nor their relative comfort when travelling and for all I know, made no attempt to call authorities, because there was no basis to do to. Instead sat on her cashier perch, gossiping away with condemnation to many people, inciting some to engage. Which could easily have resulted in a real incident causing a great deal more harm to those involved; mostly my dogs and myself. Harm to all with her veiled discrimination, as already inflicted, except for the one behind the glass smirking. This woman needs to be fired. It may well be a race issue, as she knew exactly how long I was parked there for, therefore likely knew exactly who she was picking on, as she apparently spent a lot of time gazing out the window. Another of your staff may have been witness (wearing a blue shirt) as we spoke. Seems your narcissist worker is quite the clown as that person/off duty worker(?) also seemed amused throughout it all, rather than actually concerned for the well-being of my dogs. Contact me asap to resolve the issue of sparing other customers, including myself in the future, from her out of control behaviour. So that I know I have a future shopping at Aldi. [Having to redo this as it won't switch to the right software to upload the file pictures right. Contact me via email for more. Though I'd prefer Aldi to take the initiative with their own audio visual documentation to corroborate what the woman inflicted on numerous costumers.]

Customer experienced disrespectful behavior, refusal to accept cash, threats of police involvement, and harassment at aldi. requesting apology and termination of the employee.
Thursday afternoon when served in aldi at Gympie road chermsides, the operator ignored me and started scanning my items. I tried explaining pleasantries as humans are supposed to and it just laughed at me it then directed me to pay by car .as i was handing over a 20 dollar note. It ignored me. I moved the note closer and it started talking about calling the police if i ever come back. Still ignored the cash. Customer's started commenting about it making me look like a fool holding the money, so i tried using it as a card and told it, its not working how do i pay. It then chose to accept cash. I asked it why did it ignore me in case there was a reason, it laughed in my face and said it wasn't ignoring me. So i pointed theres witnesses and its on camera, it lied again. I asked to see manager and it said it was. Turns out it lied again and the manager David wasn't there. I asked for his last name and it lied once more staring it didn't know it. When All it had to say was i am not allowed to share that. It then started serving other customers who assaulted me, banging into me. It appeared it was on drugs and looked like it was a drug user. It held me against my will refusing to accept cash , it was rude ànd laughing at me in such an arrogant manner , it had to be on drugs. It refused to take cash and then threatened me with police. I have the right to be safe and tret with respect ànd it has a code of conduct it did not follow. I encountered a hate crime from an extremist who doesn't want to take cash. Harrasment and publicly shaming me because I don't follow her views i should pay by card. She needs to be fired immeaditely for her erratic irrational abuse and harrasment.
