I placed a order with Amazon on January 13th 2024 for a Bissel steam mop value $138. My phone requested a app update and the Amazon app froze so had to delete and install again. This is where the problem started. My purchase history got deleted so now have no proof of purchase . Have no invoice or anything. Unfortunately the steam mop was faulty so I wished to return But was unsuccessful even after speaking to seven different staff members and explaining as best I could. As there is no purchase history or invoice then I have no proof and nothing to click on to receive a barcode so I can return. All I have is the purchase on my bank statement and the delivery advice from the post office. Contacted consumer protection which turned out to be no help at all. So I stuck here with a item that not work, cannot return and nobody listen. It may not seem like much money but we both on a pension here so to me I would appreciate my money back

Amazon sends items damaged and refuses to partially refund a damaged item insisting it be sent back to them when people work full time. It is unreasonable when amazon does not take due diligence they put it on the customer to solve the problem.

My wife ordered a projector off of amazon which was supposed to come on Tuesday , which came and passed and the tracking was changed to sorry but your delivery has been delayed now expected by Friday 5th I have looked at the tracking as it is coming to my worksite at 50 Vinnicombe Drive Canning Vale 6155. I am quite concerned that an item can be shipped and arrive at the local depot Welshpool ( less than half an hour from my workplace ) and yet not have any further movement on it since. Has the item disappeared , been damaged , stolen , wasn’t correct item ? To be honest if any of the above has happened either get the item again or refund straight away so I can order another one. I wanted the item for this weekend but now will have to look elsewhere and probably have to pay more for a unit with equivalent specs or a cheaper less quality one to be able to watch the movies I have planned for the weekend with the family. The complete lack of updates is infuriating . I have dealt with companies like temu , ebay , wish , which due to the cheapness of items I can expect the low level of service but buying something from Amazon is supposed to be a good experience , its no wonder my company doesn’t allow us to purchase from Amazon. If I need to go and collect the item let me know and I will collect today , if not available today then refund my cash to my bank today before the weekend so I can make other arrangements.
