There is a bone in my supposedly vegetarian guacamole. As a vegetarian this is illegal and all meat products that can be in food must be displayed.

Order 40417259 Gympie 16.27 21/6/2024. Member ID17373020. the taco filling was virtually non existent. The taco was fried, I know that you will have teething problems. The order was $22.10. I would like it replaced.

Customer complains of undercooked rice causing health issues and hard, sharp corn chips. urges guzman y gomez to improve recipes and ingredients for safety.
All their recipes give undercooked rice to people, and this creates bloating and other health issues. Also, their corn chips are terribly hard to swallow and also sharp if broken. They stick in our throughts and this is dangerous. Once I had nachos and a corn chip stuck in my throught and stayed there. It really took me near death. I was just survived miraculously. Food safety is important, and they need to change their recipes (e.g. cook the rice longer with more water to get softer) and ingredients (e.g. use softer and healthier corn chip) to make it safer and pleasant for people.

After specifically asking for non dairy tacos 🌮 I was given two as non dairy and 1 with cheese. Why? Very odd!

Hello my name is Chris Brehaut I walked in to order my food then went to find the table I wanted to sit at the guy bought out our food out then I ask him don’t people clean up here as there was food all over the floor and was very rude really unexceptionable the way he spoke to me they was not busy and I sat there for 30 minutes and still did nothing about I have pictures I am not happy I like the food but should not have to sit in restaurant with unhinge even behind counter was bad he was dark skin guy that was very rude around 730 pm

Hi, I ordered a chicken burrito on Thursday around 2pm at the Maryborough store. Out of the entire burrito there was 2 pieces of chicken and 3 cubes of tomato. That’s it! For $15!!!! It was all rice and beans… I want a refund or a new burrito worth $15 with the filling I ordered and paid for.

Customer received wrong item and was charged extra at guzman y gomez. seeks cash refund due to financial impact and previous occurrence.
At the Rothwell store in Brisbane, I ordered ground beef for my nachos but received shredded beef brisket and was charged extra for it even though I didn’t order it. When I asked why I was getting charged extra I was told it was a 30% surcharge. The problem has a financial effect on me through being charged extra. I would like a cash refund as this is the second time that staff have done this.

Customer's daughter had a disorganized and unprofessional experience working at gyg, with issues regarding training, communication, payment, and lack of available shifts.
My 15-year-old daughter was successful in securing a job with the new GYG in Fairfield Townsville late last year. I have to say the whole process once she obtained a job was an absolute disgrace, a shambles. Once my daughter had accepted the role she was contacted to do her first shift. I (Dad) went to pick her up and noticed she was on the chip fryers which was fine, but wearing shorts?? Im not quite sure firstly if this is safe? I did ask my daughter what training she had received for her shift. It was a basic this is the fryer this is where you get the fries etc and this is how long you out them in... Great stuff. Fills a dad full of confidence. My daughter then did another shift and was not contacted. I went up to GYG to see what was going on and whether there was actually work there?? I was told that they don't use the App for accepting shifts (like they are supposed to) they have a WhatsApp group amongst themselves (this is what some long-haired yahoo of a shift manager told me) and they would be sure to add my daughter (Sienna Hall - For what it's worth). She wasnt added and whilst there I also had to chase up why she was paid for the shifts she had completed. Apparently, the WhatsApp group she wasnt added to was where she was supposed to send her bank and tax details aswell as get her shifts. Very professional organisation. This took another 2 weeks to rectify (In line with the pay cycle) and whilst still not added to this WhatsApp group chat, she was given another couple of shifts by a manager a bit more competent than the first chap I spoke with. After which noting again. I got my daughter to follow up and she was told that the business was not as busy or profitable as first expected and that at the moment there would not be any shifts available. All in all very very poor experience for someone starting out in the workforce and if this is how GYG organise themselves then I'm glad my daughter has no part in it.

Customer received cold and disgusting food from capalaba store, seeking refund and apology from guzman y gomez due to decline in quality and service.
We ordered food tonight from our local Capalaba store, which is approx 10 - 15 mins away from us. When my son returned home with the food his burrito was cold and my chicken nachos the meat was also ice cold. Both tasted disgusting not fresh. This is not the first time the food at the Capalaba store has been bad, there has been a major decline in both quality and service from this store. When I rang to complain the staff told me to check the warmth of the food before leaving. Are we expected to stick our fingers in everyone's meals to ensure your staff have done their job properly ? Meat not heated to the correct temperature is unsafe. Complete waste of money. I have given this store too many chances I want a refund
